A life of Learning

Preschool experience can be instrumental in helping your child prepare for grade school and a life of learning. Child development experts confirm that high-quality care in the formative years helps build positive relationships, self-concepts, and attitudes toward learning that will last a lifetime.

Our Structured Curriculum

Each week, teachers create a lesson plan that reflects a balance of teacher guided and child initiated activities to develop the children’s emotional, social, physical and intellectual development as a group as well as individuals.

In the weekly lesson plans, activities are created in multiple learning areas that include:

  • Language and Literacy (Including basic Spanish)
  • Science and Technology
  • Mathematics
  • Physical Development and Health
  • Fine and Gross Motor Skills
  • Character Development

Individual Learning

Young children learn, mature and develop skills at different rates. With this in mind, our teachers prepare progress reports so you will know what your child’s day was like at Hope Rising.

For our older preschoolers, Hope Rising teachers use books and tools to expand a preschooler’s knowledge through weekly thematic units of learning and beginning reading and math so they discover new achievements every day.
