I have been married to my wonderful husband for 24 years. We have three amazing and mostly wonderful children (ages 22, 19 and 15). I like reading a good book, Mexican food, watching TV, sewing and teaching pre-school. My oldest son is a senior in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M and we love watching him march in at Aggie football games. He is a political science major who will contract into the Navy as a pilot after he graduates. My oldest daughter is a freshman at TWU in Denton and is studying psychology/pre-physical therapy. My youngest daughter is a freshman at McMillan high school in Murphy, she loves show choir and theater, which means I also love show choir and theater. I also spent 12 years being a dance mom with my oldest daughter in competitive dance.

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University, Class of ’94, with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. I also have a Texas teaching certificate for grades K-6.

After 8 years in youth ministry and 5 years as a stay-at-home mom, I began teaching preschool when my youngest started preschool. I have been so amazed at what a wonderful, nurturing environment these incredible ladies have created. I love watching the children learn about God, make new discoveries and have fun every day. I have taught four and five-year-olds for the past eleven years. I am truly blessed to have found a job that I love with such a wonderful group of ladies. I look forward to the start of our new year and meeting all of our new kiddos and families at Hope Rising Preschool!
